The Mission Companion works on Chrome, Edge and Firefox desktop, and on Firefox for Android.
On desktop, Chromium browsers keep the Companion in a side panel and Firefox keeps it in a sidebar. Firefox for Android does not support extension sidebars, so the Companion popup opens in an extension tab instead. That tab is the mobile Companion surface.
Firefox desktop requires version 140 or newer, and Firefox for Android requires version 142 or newer. These versions let Firefox represent the Companion's activity permissions with Mozilla's built-in data-consent model, without a custom legacy consent flow.
The Companion targets the current Beta and is used with the Calder staging environment during testing. Product links opened by the Companion resolve to getcalder.io in production and staging.getcalder.io in testing.
The popup opens with no active Mission by default. Once it connects to Calder, it shows your available Missions, your Credits balance and your recent notifications.
